• Pure Restaurant & Bar — affordable lunch and steaks.
• Kauppayhtiö — vintage diner with vegan options and karaoke later.

Coffee & breakfast

• Cafe Koti — best cinnamon buns in the city.
• Roastery Coffee — proper specialty coffee.
• Cafe & Bakery Pekka Niska — old-school, cheap, full of locals.

Something different

• Arctic Restaurant at Arctic SnowHotel — eat in an ice room.
• Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara — top of the hill, sunset views.

Quick tips

• Lunch (lounas) menus are half the price of dinner — often €12–15 with soup, salad, and coffee.
• Most restaurants close by 10 pm. Eat earlier than you think.
• Try leipäjuusto (squeaky cheese with cloudberry jam) at least once.
